Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front with more noticeable abrasion near top-left; slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots on back. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read (text is crooked) with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Split near right of bottom-edge. Top-edge has text and is easy-to-read. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Release date is approximate. (Not a cut-out.)
Mexican music is rarely heard on the radio there, but in the homes and in the streets it becomes the most important feature of the posadas - the nine exciting days of special parties which precede Christmas day and in which is reenacted, in both musical and dramatic form, the story of Mary and Joseph in search of a place where their Child could be born. Capitol is privileged to offer this authentic collection of Mexican Christmas music as recently recorded in Mexico City in the most modern studios below the Rio Grande.
