Minoxidil Bailleul 2% is indicated in case of hair loss or weakening of the hair in the upper part of the head or in case of generalized weakening of the hair.

It is a peripheral vasodilator, and therefore is indicated in adults aged between 18 and 65 years.

Contact your doctor if you do not notice any improvement or if you notice your symptoms worsening after 4 months.

It is not indicated in cases of alopecia areata (sudden or unexplained hair loss) or cicatricial alopecia (associated with skin with scarring characteristics, such as a burn or ulcer). Also, it should not be used if hair loss is associated with pregnancy, childbirth or serious medical conditions, such as thyroid malfunction, lupus, loss of hair sections associated with inflammation of the scalp or other conditions.

If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, or if you are breast-feeding, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

Its mode of action involves the regulation of the biological cycles of the hair, prolonging the Anagen growth phase and minimizing the passive ones of Telogen and Catagen.

Active ingredients

Minoxidil 20 mg / ml (2% w / v). One delivery of 2% cutaneous solution of Minoxidil Bailleul contains 20 mg of minoxidil. Seven puffs are required to apply approximately 1 ml of solution containing 20 mg of minoxidil.

Excipients

Propylene glycol, 96% ethanol, purified water.

How to use

The dose of 1 ml should be applied to the scalp twice a day (once in the morning and once in the evening). The total daily dose should not exceed 2 ml.
