Vintage original 27 x 41 in. US one-sheet poster from the controversial "psychotronic" horror/crime comedy, BAD (AKA Andy Warhol's Bad), released in 1977 by New World Pictures and directed by Jed Johnson. Hazel (Carroll Baker) runs a beauty salon out of her house, but makes extra money by providing ruthless women to do hit jobs. L.T. (Perry King) is a parasite and contacts Hazel looking for work when he runs out of money. She is reluctant to use him for a hit, since she prefers using women, but decides to try him on a trial basis. Meanwhile, the local cop she pays-off wants an arrest to make it look like he's actually doing his job, but she doesn't want to sacrifice any of her "associates." Several other side plots are woven in, populated with characters from the sleazy side of life.

This film received an "X" rating when it was first released and this one-sheet is from the original X-rated release. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, it is in very fine condition as shown.

Shelley Winters originally turned down the role of Hazel Aiken - probably the only film role she ever rejected. Ricky Nelson and Andy Warhol protege Jackie Curtis were considered for the role ultimately played by Perry King. King said Andy Warhol told him in reference to the plot of bad: “I wanted to make a film about evil women and incompetent men.” Vivian Vance also turned down the role of Hazel. She felt it would damage her image among fans who flocked to theaters to see her whenever she appeared in a play.
