1994 Circus Star Barbie

This is a Limited Edition Circus Star Barbie that was sold exclusively at F.A.O. Schwarz stores.  She was issued in 1994 and her stock number is 13257.

Circus Star Barbie celebrates the breathless, exciting performances of many circus acrobats from tightrope walkers to tumblers and more!  With the lights of the big top upon her, she steps out onto the wire, carrying only her umbrella for balance.  Step by step she crosses the wire, while the audience below holds their breath, scarcely able to watch.  At last!  Circus Star Barbie steps off the wire onto her stand, bowling gracefully as the audience roars with approval.  She is truly a circus star!

Barbie is ready to perform in her brightly colored circus outfit.  Her satiny leotard has a bold colored print on a black background.  A short skirt falls from her hips.  The edges of the skirt and bodice are trimmed in gold ribbon and fringe.  Black fishnet stockings match the net sleeves and neckline of her outfit.  Large black cuffs with gold sparkles and trim hold her pink satin lined, black velvet cape in place.  A gold sparkled cap with multicolored feathers tops her long blonde hair.  Tiny golden earrings and a matching ring are her only jewelry.  Black boots with gold lame’ cuffs cover her feet.  She also comes with a four-color, gold fringed umbrella and hair brush.
