This is a large scale and heavy sculpture of kokopelli, which appears to be copper. There are no marks indicating maker, origin, or metal content. It is magnetic. The sticker on the bottom indicates that it was sold by Su Casa, which has a Tucson AZ phone number. There is a number (72/300) on the bottom indicating that 300 of this figurine were produced. There is a symbol of some kind near the foot of the figure; it could stand for the artist or have some other meaning.

Although Kokopelli is a Native American motif from the Hopi, Zuni, and other Pueblo cultures, I do NOT think this sculpture is necessarily Native-made.

CONDITION: This figure is in very good condition with no damage I can find.
SIZE: The base 9" wide and the height is 10 7/8".

BACKGROUND: This is one of a number of interesting things I recently purchased from a retired teacher neighbor before she moved away from our retirement community to live with her son. I'll be listing more of her things over the next several weeks.

WHY BUY FROM WANDERING CREEK? I've been selling online for 24 years and guarantee that the information in my listings is accurate and that I will get your item in the mail very quickly. I accept returns for any reason but do not do partial refunds. #25672
