Vintage original 8.25 x 11.75 in. German lobby card from the 1990s version of the classic adventure/thriller drama, LORD OF THE FLIES, released in 1990 and directed by Harry Hook. Based upon the novel by William Golding, stranded on an island, a group of schoolboys degenerate into savagery.

The image depicts several young military shoolboys wearing only a pair of underwear as they build a fire while holding a pair of eyeglasses. Printed for the film's original theatrical release in Germany, it was never used and is in very fine+ condition as shown.

The title Lord Of The Flies comes from the Hebrew translation of Beelzebub, and it is one of the seven names for the Devil (according the seven deadly sins in the Judeo-Christian tradition). Beelzebub is the personification of the sin of gluttony.
