 Unless you request otherwise, before shipping I test all controllers for functionality, set them for K-Thermocouple type input, when I do that they default to a range of 1372C`(2500F`) High Max Temperature, but I reset them for 1148C`(2100F`) Max, reason being is Kanthal A heating element wire melting point is 1300C`(2372F`), It’s one of the most popular heating wires as well as the K23 FireBricks that are rated for 1260C`(2300F`) I also set the Low Range to 0`. Note: All settings I make are changeable and explained in my procedure.

EXAMPLE: CONVERT - Fahrenheit to Celsius – F` minus 32 divided by 1.8 = C`

EXAMPLE: CONVERT – Celsius to Fahrenheit -  C` times 1.8 plus 32 = F`
