Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). 12" Single. Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, tiny surface abrasions, a couple discoloration spots, and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (plastic). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Jody Watley's hit single Some Kind of Lover was her third top 10 pop single from the album Jody Watley, and third No. 1 of the US dance chart. The single advanced into the top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 10. Some Kind of Lover kept Watley in the Top 20 of the singles chart for six weeks. The music video premiered in January 1988. In 1988 the song was nominated for two MTV Video Music Awards, for Best Female Video and Best New Artist in a Video, she also performed Some Kind of Lover at the award show that year.
