A small leguminous tree or large shrub with mimosa-like green leaves accented by yellow flowers with long stamens, that bloom from spring to autumn. The plant often grows twisted and contorted, with a widswept, look making it a perfect bonsai work of art. Grows well on coastlines. Somewhat drought tolerant once established and grows in most soil types. Needs protection of temperatures go below 35 F



Treat as a tropical that cannot tolerate hard frost.
