Danny longs to be a carver like his grandfather, who is a master carver that makes figureheads for the proud sailing vessels. The shop is always exciting and never more so as his grandfather is finishing up the most beautiful figurehead he has ever made: Sea Lady. 

But, then disaster strikes! Hidden in the fog, the British navy sails up the river in a surprise attack! All Danny can think about is how to save Sea Lady and perhaps the very livelihood of his grandfather.
