A Copeland Spode stoneware jug / pitcher. The straight-sided body tapers from the foot, and has a cream / pale beige glaze, and the top rim, foot and sides of the handle are embossed with bands of geometric pattern. Narrow unglazed blue jasper bands run around the body between the bands of geometric pattern, and are decorated with an ivory glazed floral sprig relief frieze. The centre of the body has a wide unglazed blue jasper band decorated with an ivory glazed sprig relief hunting scene. Note: The JUG has a minor dent on side of wall.
