WRITER & CRITIC:
A CORRESPONDENCE WITH HENRY MILLER

By William A. Gordon

Baton Rouge: Louisiana State University Press, (1968).

 First edition, first printing.

When Gordon was researching to write a study on Miller's works, he wrote to Miller and sent him some preliminary analysis and interpretations.

Miller struck up a correspondence with Gordon, objecting to some of the interpretations, and clarifying his attitudes, thoughts, and influences in his writing and works.

This enlightening book is that revealing correspondence, with Gordon's commentary.

Fine, fresh and very tight in bright orange linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine, white headband and tail-band, (small 'd' stamped to the upper edge of the front end-paper); in a near fine price-clipped and slightly rubbed dust jacket with fading to the titles on the spine panel, and a short tear to the lower edge of the front panel.

Octavo; 88 pages.
