Our goal is to save old films from the trash heap and digitize them in HD for future generations. The Son went to film school and the father is passionate about history and assembles the content. What's on this DVD;   Douglas DC-3 Skytrain

This DVD is about the  Douglas DC-3.  A collection of films on the major Douglas two-engine airliner that could actually make money flying passengers. The DC-3 also was created from the smaller DC-2 to accommodate a sleeper airliner.  Turned out to be one of the greatest successful aircraft of all time.

1st Film: "Sky Raiders". A great 1930's film that tells a short history of aviation to the DC-3 dominating the skies.  Runtime 9:03 Min's

2nd Film: "Flagships of the Air" .  An incredible American Airlines film from the 1930's.  This film illustrates air travel criss-crossing America made possible by the amazing DC-3. Runtime 28:01 Min's

3rd Film: "Wings over New Zealand".  This is an Neuline film on the luxury flying on the Douglas DC-3 and the Rare Boeing 247 as they fly around New Zealand. Great color and narrated footage of this time era.  Runtime 25:38 Min's

4th Film; "The DC-3 DST Sleeper" A short film on the DC-3 Sleeper.  Airlines wanted to fly travelers at night, so the request for a larger DC-3 was created from the DC-2 to accommodate the airlines with beds, just like the Railroads in the 1930's, travel by air was becoming of age.  Runtime 5.22 M

5th Film: "Douglas Newsreels" . A collection of newsreels on the famous DC-3 and DC-4's. Runtime 18:48 Min's
