About US; Campbell Films is a small American family business dedicated to the preservation of rare, historical films. Started in 2007 by a father and son, team. The Amazing RAF British Spitfire Story. The title is "1st of the Few". The Spitfire came along just in time to stop the German Luftwaffe during the battle of Britain. We collect old films and we just recently got a great copy of this film. Great story, plus we added some WW2 newsreels to go with this film. We know you can find this story elsewhere, so, if you buy from us, we will include an extra DVD for free. Just email us what you would like from our inventory, or we just add one of equal value for you. We hope that you will enjoy this DVD. 1st Film: "1st of the Few". This is a great film created by the British Government on the story of the man and his vision to build the spitfire and the struggle he walked to get there. A great story and Great footage . Amazing stuff. Runtime 1 hour 53 min's 2nd Film: "Luftwaffe fights back". This is a Nazi newsreel of Germans fighting the British and eventually shooting down a Spitfire. Comes with sound, but not nazi narration. Fascinating to see. The BF-109 was a great match to the Spitfire and the outcome between the 2 was usually the pilot flying. Runtime around 5:50 Min's 3rd Film: "Spitfire Newsreels". This film is a collection of Spitfire newsreels. 1st; Invasion of Sicily. 2nd; British carriers with Spitfire on board, plus crashes. 3rd; Warwork News- P-39 and Spitfires being loaned to Russians. 4th; Battle of Tunisia. 5th; Spitfire Fighter Kills-Train Busting..
