What's on this DVD;  USN Carrier Landing Stories

This DVD is a collection of very RARE films on Carrier Landings and the history of naval aviation. The rarest film on this DVD is called "Landing and Re-spotting Aircraft". We are a small father and son team and we collect old and rare films. This is one them. I have never seen this film anywhere and we hope you'll enjoy this DVD.

1st film; "Landing and Re-spotting Aircraft". This is a really amazing film in great color about the way a crew lands F4F Wildcats and TBF Avengers on a WW2 aircraft Carrier at sea. Lots of really great team work plus, fantastic footage of these 2 great planes. This may be the only copy of this film left. This is the orginal phase "Hook Down, Wheels Down, Flaps Down" in great WW2 fashion. Runtime 25:22 Min's

2nd Film: "Hook Down, Wheels Down". This is a USN 1960's version of "Hook Down, Wheels Down" with an hour of great Carrier stories, plus a great history lessons of the USN Aviation. Runtime 57:10 Min's

4th Film; "After the Cut". This is a short USN Cartoon film about WW2 F4F landing on a carrier and the importance of paying attention to landings and the aftermath to repairs needed aircraft that landed to hard. Runtime 5:09 min's
