Our goal is to save old films from the trash heap and digitize them in HD for future generations. The Son went to film school and the father is passionate about history and assembles the content. This DVD is a collection of SSN Submarines. America was experimenting with nuclear powered submarines and the USS Triton, SSN-586 was the  1st and only submarine to have two nuclear power plants.  Much was learned by the early Nuclear submarines and American has perfected the use of the atom to send there submarines anywhere in the world today with out refueling.  A special thanks from us, for all of those submariners that serve and had served to protect our nation! We hope you will enjoy this DVD.

 1st film: "Newsreels on Triton". This collection of newsreels reflect the USS Triton launched and traveling around the world underwater. Runtime 4:00 M.

 2nd Film: "Beyond Magellan". This film shows the story of the USS Triton SSN-586 as she took the famous trip around the world following the route that Ferdinand Magellan took in the year of 1519.  Captain Edward L. Beach commanded this amazing trip of 89 days under the sea in Feb 1960. Great film. Runtime 27:37 M

3rd Film; "FBM Crew".  A USN film about how the Navy selects and trains men to function aboard Americas early ballistic nuclear submarines.  Runtime 28:18 M

4th Film: "No Deck to Strut On". This film is about the true American Father of submarines; John Holland and his journey from the concept of the CSS Hunley; (a confederate Submarine), to the powered torpedo, to an actual submarine that could launch a torpedo and not sink too in the process as the Hunley did. The USS Holland was considered the 1st true submarine used by our Navy. Great film. Runtime 27:42 M
