I am going to be listing an interesting collection of 1930-40's and 1950's shoes from an estate of an entertainer in that era. I could not find out much except for the papers I received with the shoes. I included a photo of those papers. It seems these shoes were worn by a lovely lady named Virginia Collette. She was partnered with Danny Egan and they were a singing act that involved puppets. She dressed quite flashy and I am lucky enough to have come across her shoe collection. The pair listed here are ivory cloth with red appliques of florals with ankle straps. These shoes are small.  I do know her usual size was a 4B. I am also unclear on that size mark. They appear to have been resoled at some point.. Measuring from the top of the sole at the heel to the toe is about 9" and 4 3/4" from top of heel to bottom. The widest portion of the shoe is about 3".These are worn and will have smudges.
Please be advised as with any vintage/used clothing, shoes or fabrics there may be small tears, spots, fading, pilling, wear or pulled threads.  Most are repairable and stains are treatable. I try to point out the flaws so read carefully and look at photos closely. Thank you for looking and message if you have questions!
