This style license plate was issued by Ohio from 1997 through 2001. "Ohio Gold": Embossed dark blue serial on reflective white and gold gradient plate; "OHIO" screened in dark blue centered at top. "BIRTHPLACE OF AVIATION" screened in red between state name and serial. Issued only to new registrants. Gold plates were revalidated until 2022, but plate numbers could be transferred to the most current design. In good condition, see photos.
