MAGIC MIKE (2012): Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) is a thirty-year old living in Tampa, Florida. By day he works as a roofer and general handyman; by night he becomes Magic Mike; the star attraction from the Kings of Tampa, a group of dancing male strippers. Secretly Mike wants out in order to focus on his projected carpentry and furniture-making business but his credit rating makes it hard to get a bank loan for his goal despite his considerable savings. Mike looks to improve his earnings at the strip club, but is told by his boss Dallas (Matthew McConaughey) that he has to help train Adam (Alex Pettyfer) a teen-aged work-mate from his roofing business to work as new stripper. To make matters more complicated Mike turns out to be dating Adam's older sister Brooke (Codi Horn) and after Adam's big mistake threaten to jeopardize Brooke's relationship with Mike and Mike's projected carpentry ambitions as well.
