DETAILS
The PAC AAI-HD3 Honda/Acura auxiliary input adapter allows you to interface an
external audio source with your factory radio. On one end, it plugs
into the Satellite/CD changer input on the back of the radio and, on the
other, it provides RCA inputs. Use it to add a non-factory CD changer,
an MP3 player (like an iPod), satellite radio, DVD audio, etc. A
direct connection using the RCA jacks is far superior to the sound
quality you get using an RF modulated device. RCA plugs are easily adapted to 3.5mm stereo mini headphone connection. We carry such an adapter but it is not included. Please email for details.
**You must have satellite capability OR remote CD changer controls to use
this product. As a general rule, radios with a built-in changer did NOT
have remote CD Changer controls, so you will not be able to use this if
you have a CD6 radio UNLESS the radio has satellite capability and you either don't have a satellite tuner or don't mind disconnecting it. Further, use of this interface in a given mode will require disconnection of said remote device, if so equipped. This is only a problem if: 1) you have a remote CD Changer AND satellite radio because the device will need to operate in one mode or the other, requiring one of the two remote devices to be disconnected. 2) you have a radio with a built in CD Changer AND you have satellite radio because, as noted above, radios with a built in CD Changer often didn't have remote CD Changer controls since it was considered redundant.
Here is a list of radio and option combinations to help you understand if you can use this or not:
- Single CD radio has remote Changer controls but no SAT or XM button. You have no remote Changer. = OK to use

SHIPPING & HANDLING
- Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code. This site does the figuring, not us. If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours. Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates.
- We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site. They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly.
- A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door. Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives.
- This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information. We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
