surplus stored on open racks so wire may have some dust, dirt or stains on or under the layers of wire, so may not want to
use in clean room applications. Good for warehouse industrial etc, (or you can get a bottle of spray
cleaner and paper towels and wipe it down as you unspool it. We wiped
the outer exposed edge and it cleaned up easily. Metal reel has some scratches or surface rust etc from storage.
