MCM Pottery Speckled Tan with Embossed DAYLILY 9.5" Stoneware Ginger Cookie Jar

Marked USA on Bottom - Has a "Dry" Foot

I have done a ton of research on this piece, as to whom the maker might be. I have been unable to find a definitive answer, though I have seen it attributed to McCoy, as well as Shawnee. Could also quite possibly be Camark or Ransburg. I would love to hear from anyone who knows more about it.:)

It is has a glossy glaze speckled tan overall, with a raised day lily decoration on the front. Daylily was at one time cold painted by hand, but with the exception of a bit of green paint on the leaves, it has all worn off.

VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs. The only issue notable is the paint has worn off the daylily decoration. Quite common for older cold painted decorations.

Measures approx. 9 1/2" tall with lid x8" across the handles x 5 1/4" base diameter.
