NICE 8 Piece Vintage Franciscan DESERT ROSE Dinnerware Set

This beautiful pattern features embossed pink roses, green leaves, and brown trim.

When the ground-breaking Desert Rose pattern by Franciscan premiered in 1941, it was a distinctly American contrast to traditional European bone china. The gamble paid off - Desert Rose would go on to become one of the largest selling casual tableware patterns in the history of dinnerware!

While the popular Desert Rose pattern was in production from 1941 until 1984.  Production was moved to Portugal and England from 1985-2003. Then It Moved Yet Again,to China from 2004-2013.

These pieces all bear the "Flying F" USA mark which dates them to being produced during the last years of production in the USA, from 1979-1984.  

EXCELLENT CONDITION! ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, stains, or damage.

4 Saucers ~ Each measures approx. 6" in diameter
4 Coffee Cups ~ Each measures approx. 2 1/4" tall x 4" mouth diameter
