GOOD CONDITION ~ Compote has no nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites or repairs. Lid has a single small nick on the edge of the finial. Both pieces do show some typical scratches/wear that one might associate with an item that is well over 100 years old. PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT THE DOMED LID WHILE A NICE FIT AND FROM THE SAME TIME PERIOD (though to be Hobbs, Brockunier & Co Mold No. 77) DOES NOT MATCH THIS COMPOTE, BUT IS INCLUDED SINCE THEY WERE TOGETHER AT TIME OF PURCHASE AND LOOK NICE TOGETHER. Please make note of this at time of purchase.
High Standard Compote Features Dithridge Pattern No. 1 Features a Crystallography Motif of Birds, Plants/Foliage/Trees and Vines. Originally Called "Stork" aka as Blue Heron/Heron. First Introduced in 1879.
