Vintage SILVER CITY Silver Overlay BERRIES & VINES Pattern #Sci16 Open Double Handled SUGAR Bowl

Elegant sugar bowl features Sterling Silver overlay pattern of berry clusters and vines, with a scalloped edge. 

Pattern applied by Silver City. The actual sugar dish itself would have been manufactured by one of the glass companies (possibly Cambridge, Heisey or Duncan & Miller) of the period. 
The Silver City Glass Company was located in Meriden, CT and operated from 1905 to the 1980s. They were well known for the applied silver and gold decorations on glass of Cambridge, Heisey and other major glass companies of the period. 

VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ No chips, nicks, cracks, or damage. Just a bit of mild tarnish/wear to the silver overlay. 

Measures approximately 3 1/4" tall x 2 7/8" rim diameter x 4 7/8" across the handles.
