A swashbuckling action adventure, CUTTHROAT ISLAND is set on the high seas of the 1600's, when men were daring...and so were the women. Beautiful pirate's daughter Morgan Adams inherits command of her father's ship and a portion of a coveted treasure map, and sets off on a mission to lay claim to the legendary fortune of Cutthroat Island. To help her decipher the map, she buys the handsome educated William Shaw at a slave auction. A swindler and cheat who has finally been snared, Shaw joins the crew and helps Morgan steal another portion of the map and together they set sail in a race to beat the sinister pirate Dawg Brown to the treasure.
