Brand New Replacement LCM2 Transistors (2x)
Here is your opportunity to purchase (2) BRAND NEW VN-750-E Chips. These chips are identical to the original Infineon BTS426L1 which are no longer in production. Lighting Control Modules (LCM) on both early E38 7-Series (740i, 740iL, 750i, 750iL) and E39 5-Series (528i, 530i, 540i and M5) can fail causing your headlights to stay on even when the car is turned off! You can replace the entire module, but it is $400 and the BMW dealer has to reprogram it at an hourly rate of $100/hr+. Or you can DIY repair for a fraction of the cost and here is how. As an alternative to costly dealership replacement fees, you can simply replace both chips that are responsible for the problem. We can also repair service your Lighting Control Module for you. STMicroelectronics VN-750-E HIGH SIDE DRIVER
The VN750-E is a monolithic device designed in STMicroelectronics™ VIPower™ M0-3 technology intended for driving any kind of load with one side connected to ground. Active VCCpin voltage clamp protects the device against low energy spikes (see ISO7637 transient compatibility table). Active current limitation combined with thermal shutdown and automatic restart help protect the device against overload. The device detects open load condition in on-state and off-state. Output shorted to VCC is detected in the off-state. Device automatically turns off in case of ground pin disconnection.
