ARTWORK BY George & Doris Hauman!
Vintage "SHINGEBISS" Storybook Print

This incredible full color print was salvaged from a "well loved" children's storybook originally published in the early 1950's. This crisp illustration is a first run, first edition print from the publisher Platt & Munk, Co., Inc. and is highly collectible. This fine illustration, by renown childrena€™s artists, George & Doris Hauman (The Little Engine That Could; At the Back of the North Wind; Adventures with the Gods) with its bright, vibrant colors is in remarkably fine shape considering its age.

Printed in the U.S.A. on heavy stock paper. Printing on the back (does not distract from the image). Binding seam present. Some very light corner bumping at the right corners of the page and a small ripple in the right margin midway down the page (the page turning areas). These small flaws do not extend into the area of the image. The image is signed by the artists and their signature appears along the bottom right of the page. There are words printed to accompany the image also at the bottom of the page.
