Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1960's musical comedy, BYE BYE BIRDIE, released in 1963 by Columbia Pictures and directed by George Sidney, in which a rock singer (Jesse Pearson) travels to a small Ohio town to make his "farewell" television performance and kiss his biggest fan before he is drafted.
The image features an interior publicity portrait shot of singer-turned-actor Bobby Rydell making his motion picture debut as "Hugo." Affixed to the verso is the original paper snipe along with a large rubber stamp from Columbia Pictures. This photograph was signed in black felt tip pen by Bobby Rydell. It is in very fine- condition as shown.
Silent Cinema Inc. (the seller here) guarantees the authenticity of Bobby Rydell's signature.
