Another one of DONALD E. WESTLAKE's spectacular "crime caper" novels, this one has the reader deep into the plot, with no doubt whatsoever about the criminal (con-man Art Dodge), or the crime (to pass himself off as a pair of identical twins, in order to wed the equally identical (but oh so much richer!) Kerner sisters).  But how to pass himself off as a "twin," when he is not?  And how to fool BOTH of his rich wives, who obviously want to socialize with their husband's (always unavailable) twin brother?  And, of course, Art Dodge (an "artful dodger" if there ever was one) also needs to undermine the character investigations of the Kerner family attorney.  The icing on the cake with this edition, is that it was published with a front cover featuring two pairs of fuzzy pink bikinis on the Kerner twins, and many editions have been unfortunately defaced by the curious fingernails of readers, attempting to scrape away what the pink fuzz has concealed.  On my copy, as you can see, the pink fuzz is intact -- I wasn't a Boy Scout, mind you:  I just didn't want to ruin the cover!
