Brand new factory sealed vhs tape is great for old school televisions as the image will fill your square frame. Pop-n-go retro video has no menus to mess with either. Duplicated in the EP mode, be sure your vcr supports this tape speed as tracking may have to be manually tweaked.
Tommy Kirk takes over the patented Walt Disney eccentric-inventor role from Fred McMurray. Kirk is Merlin Jones, the gifted but slightly oddball student who, accompanied by his girlfriend Jennifer, (Funicello), sets out on a series of comic misadventures. His electronic helmut, attached to a record player, enables him to read minds. From his newfound powers, he learns that Judge Holmsby is planning to commit a crime. To get evidence, he and his girlfriend break into the Judge's house only to be arrested. Turns out the Judge is writing a crime book under a pen name.
His next experiment hypnotizes Stanley, Midvale's lab chimp, into standing up for himself against Norman, the bully student in charge of taking care of him. Merlin instead gets in a fight with Norman and is again brought before Judge Holmsby. Intrigued by Merlin's experiments, the Judge asks him to help construct the plot for his next book.
Working on the premise that no honest person can be made to commit a crime under hypnosis -- Merlin hypnotizes Holmsby and instructs him to kidnap Stanley. Shocked when the judge actually commits the crime, Merlin and Jennifer return the chimp, but are charged with the theft themselves!
