ORGANIZATION: Third and final movie in the Detective Tibbs trilogy. The film has an elaborate pre-credits sequence of a factory robbery executed by a band of youthful 'clean-up' campaigners who have sworn vengeance on a drug syndicate which uses the premises as a base. Poitier is drawn into the case when a murder is committed under cover of the break-in. Although suspended by his superiors for witholding information, he succeeds in identifying the drug syndicate's San Francisco heads. Good action scenes and a realistic twist ending.
