Lovely pastel peach of easy care sheer poly/ cotton voile'. Very lightweight, perfect for hot weather Victorian historical events. Labeled Gunne Sax, denoting top quality vintage tailoring & fabrics.
Fitted bodice features high back neckline, trimmed with dainty ivory scalloped lace. Modest scoop front necklined bodice with more lace & ivory satin ribbon trim & 4 faux pearl decorative round buttons . Beautiful stylish full sheer lace sleeves with cuffs trimmed with more ribbon, lace & faux pearl closure complete the Victorian impression. Bodice lined with all seams finished. Attached side sashes tie into a back bow with long tails.
2 layered skirt:
Attached self fabric overskirt skirt accented with an 12" self fabric bottom ruffle. Lace center panel with lace & ribbon trim and another row of ruffled scalloped lace around the skirt. Overskirt has a hugh sweep & floats wonderfully over the satin underskirt which fits a 2 bone hoop for a nice sweep.

This vintage collectors' Gunne Sax gown is very structurally sound. It should be washed to brighten & freshen as it has been in storage for app. 25 years. No holes, separations, fading or tears found.
