“Harper’s Weekly A Journal of Civilization.” Vol. VII No. 324, New York, Saturday, March 14, 1863- Reprint 1960s-sealed in original plastic bag.
This copy is marked “The Reissue of” at the top of the title page in small type. This is a good quality reprint done during the 1960’s and sent to subscribers exactly 100 years after the original was issued.
P Harper’s Weekly” was the major illustrated journal of the time and had many illustrations by the major artists, cartoonists, and war correspondents/artists of the period. Many of the pages would make excellent prints. The stories and illustrations give an excellent view of the period and what the public knew of the Civil War and current events around the world.
Measures as Full Size: 11-1/2 x 16 inches. 16-page illustrated Newspaper.
Very Good Condition with some age wears.
Cosmetic condition is as clearly and accurately shown in the high-definition pictures provided.
