For your consideration is a vintage paper and bamboo Japanese umbrella.  This is a orange paper with spiral leaves.  The bamboo stays are hand painted with a lacquer.  It still has the original paper attached to the top.  It is 28" long and when opened it is 37" in diameter.  It does have a couple of small holes in the paper from age as shown.
