This contains very useful information for anyone repairing or restoring Wheel Horse (Wheelhorse) models using mechanical (manual) transmissions built from 1958 through 1982.
This is a special compilation edition compiled by this seller and is exclusively available here. It is a compilation of two Wheel Horse Transmission manuals, plus all Service Bulletins deamed as not covered in the manual nor superseded. The bulk of this manual is from part # A-1392, due to the fact that the photographs are of much better quality (especially the labels). Scan settings were tweaked page by page for quality.
A few pages are from the later A-1392 (492-4004 0482) revision which is the most recent known version, and the version currently available from Toro. Both versions cover Wheel Horse manufactured (Uni-Drive) transmissions used from 1958-1982. While the 0482 version includes a few service notes, and a few typographical corrections, the photograph labels are much darker and difficult to read.
Th ecompiler has added the service notes to the earlier manual, as well as substituted the pages that have missing text. In addition I have added all relevant Service Bulletins, making this the most useful version available.
This complete shop manual includes Descriptions, Exploded Views, Parts Lists, Removal, Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection, Bearing & Seal replacement, and Assembly for manual transmissions built by Wheel Horse. It does not cover transmissions and transaxles built by third parties (see my other listings for those).
This manual is a new manual laser printed at 600 DPI and perfect bound.
I am now selling the enhanced version with a handsome red cover and includes the service notes and improved photographs and service notes..
This is printed from a better quality PDF than the one available from Toro, which means the illustrations are a lot easier to read than that version. It has 74 pages. This is not a vintage manual and is not a Toro product.
