Description: A Regal Reproduction from the Corbell Collection of an original ornate footed gravey-sauce boat by Paul Storr 1819 made in London England.  He was condidered the finest silversmith craftsman of the period 1792-1845 and had an appointment to the Brithish Soverign.  It definitely a conversation piece due to its fantastical design with many detailed motifs from the scrolls to the foliate and floral forms, to the female faces, to the dramatic raptor rococo handle all supported on 3 cast fowl feet.  There is also a charming scalloped edge.  Aside from using the piece for the purpose of serving sauces or gravy, it would also make an unusal and appealing container for a floral arrangement.

Measurements: 9" L, 4 7/8" H, and 4 3/8" W.

Provenance: Gifted to me in 1966, it has been part of my personal estate collection ever since. Used a few times and then stored for decades in an anti-tarnish felt bag.
