This 100% cotton garment. It is not like many of the other "imitations" that come out of Morocco that are made of inferior fabric and poor-quality embroidery. This is true Saharan desert garb. It features a stunning white color with ocher yellow embroidery that is done by hand (though fed through a machine), The quality is amazing and the ocher color contrasts stunningly with the white.
Traditionally worn by Africans across the Sahara Desert, this garment is authentic. It also features starch, which is traditional in these garments. It will soften with wear, or re-starch after washing to keep the stiffness in the fabric. Wash in cold water with mild soap, line dry.
