• Antique American Brilliant Period (ABP) Cut Glass c. 1906
• Measurements: 13 7/8" by 7 5/8" and 1 5/8" high
• Weight, prepackaged: 4 lbs 13.6 oz

• Condition: There is a flat chip on the side of a scallop which is hard to see and doesn't effect the shape. It's easy to miss even under close inspection (it's possibly a cutting flaw). The balance of the tray is free of chips and cracks. There are only 2 tiny fleabites on the inner rim and 1 on the outer rim (all less then 1/16") . There are no other fleabites I can find on the exterior cuts, which is fantastic considering the size and intricacy of the cuts. There are no notable scratches or marks from use or storage. The bottom has light shelf wear on the highest points as expected. The cuts are well planned and superbly executed. The glass is crystal clear with superb light reflection and a slight green glow under UV light. The blank is blown and highly polished with excellent resonance for the shape. There are no notable flaws or bubbles in the glass. The piece is unsigned. The number "??47" is diamond pen etched inside one miter cut, which is very hard to see with the naked eye.

Zephyr is an exceptionally well cut pattern cover nearly the entirety of the piece. The blank is phenomenally clear (Libbey) and has a wonderful blown out shape. It's an amazing piece and will certainly be a highlight in any collection.
