Item description for Vintage Brass Fish Goldfish Etched Dangle Pierced Earrings Handmade

This is a lightweight pair of vintage fish made of etched brass. They are dangle or drop pierced earrings and at one time were probably clip ons. Each earring has an etched fish (Koi or Goldfish) with a domed surface. From the fish hangs a section with five long brass tube tassel fringe pieces that swing when you move. The earrings measure approximately 1 ¼ inches long (not including the hooks) and 1 ½ inches wide. There is no maker’s mark, but they look like ones that were made in India. These are most likely from the 1980s.

The earrings are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished them as many people prefer the patina that only comes with age. Depending on your own taste, I will leave any polishing up to you; you can keep them in the same condition with the original patina or polish them. There is some slight tarnishing as you can see with the magnification, but you don’t notice when they are being worn.
