* Produces small to medium, soft, yellow-brown, among the sweetest, crisp, and juicy pears excellent for eating fresh, and drying.
* Plant this variety with Chojuro, Korean Giant, or Shinko variety to cross-pollinate with.
* Ripening in mid to late August.
* Hardy to USDA hardiness zones 5-9
* Requires 400 chill hours, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom.
* Space trees 15-20 feet apart.
* Plant in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
We will remove the pot, wrap the roots and soil with wet paper towels, seal in a plastic bag and ship via USPS priority mail to assure freshness.
