For your consideration is a vintage HMC Avon Italy silverplated bowl, candy or trinket dish.  This piece has the beading around the rim and a beautiful scroll design in the bottom.  It is 5 7/8" wide and 1 1/4" deep.  It does have some areas in the bottom with some areas of damage as shown.  Please see the last picture.
