Offered here is this Antique Samson Foot Locker Trunk. It is in usable condition, but there is a good amount of light surface rust on the metal hinges, latches, and trim on the trunk. The trunk is made of wood and has a green paper covering on it that it in fairly good condition but does have a lot of staining and fading. The trunk does have most of the original label on the top, although I am unsure of the age of the trunk. The leather carry straps are intact at both ends. There is an H C & D Honolulu label on the side of the trunk. There are a lot of scratches to the bottom finish on the trunk. The locking mechanism is missing from the center latch. The inner lining of the trunk is also quite worn and has a lot of tears and stains in it. The trunk is 12” tall, 7.5” deep, 17.5” front to back at the corners, 16.5” front to back at the center, 30” wide, and 30.5” wide at the corners. It is a nice vintage old footlocker that could be restored to be a beautiful piece of furniture, as well as being a great storage solution.
