This is a very rare and unique figurine. Pinocchio is riding a seahorse instead of the usual regular horse used on carousel items and they used an actual brass or brass like pole instead of making it ceramic like the rest of the piece! The Schmid Company ceased to exist in 1995. Since then Schmid pieces have been very sought after and have become extremely rare, valuable and hard to come by. As the years go by, there are less and less pieces left of Disney items made by Schmid.
