Vintage orignal 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1930's infidelity-themed comedy/romance, WHERE SINNERS MEET, released in 1934 by RKO Radio Pictures and directed by J. Walter Ruben. Leonard (Reginald Owen) and Anne (Diana Wynyard) are taking the lovers road to Dover where they will board the boat and go to Paris. But the car breaks down and their chauffeur, Saunders (Vernon Steele), takes them to a nearby hotel. When they get there, it is a residence with servants owned by a Mr. Latimer (Clive Brook). While it is comfortable, they are told they cannot leave for seven days so that they can see if the marriage between them will work. The next day, Anne begins to notice things about Leonard that she ignored before. There is one other couple in the house who are leaving after seven days and it turns out to be Leonard's wife, Eustasia (Billie Burke) and Nicholas (Alan Mowbray), her lover.

The image features an interior close shot of Mr. Latimer (Clive Brook), inspecting with some concern (or disdain?) the face of Leonard (Reginald Owen), who appears to have some work ahead of him. On the center of the verso is the RKO Radio Pictures studio rubber stamp. Affixed above the stamp is the original paper snipe that describes the image and refers to the film's title as "The Dover Road" (which was the working title). It is in fine+ condition with an outline of the paper snipe on the corresponding area on the recto; random signs of light wear on the corners; and multiple scuffs which are unobtrusive from handling over time. There are no pinholes, tears, writing, or other flaws.

The screenplay was taken from a 1921 comedy play by A.A.Milne (the creator of "Winnie the Pooh") called "The Dover Road," which opened at the Bijou Theater on December 23, 1921 and ran for 204 performances until June, 1923. The play's title was also the working title for this film.
