These are assembly line left-overs. They have never been used. We have tested them here and they do play CDs. However, someone put them all in a large crate at some point and most of them are scratched up as a result of hitting another radio. Often this means the face (because it's plastic and the case is metal, so the case wins...) but the case will quite possibly be scratched and dented too. Of course, you don't see the case after it's installed.  

We're selling them at a crazy low price because they're marred up and we have a bunch of them. The scratches are noticeable and each of them is scratched in a different manner. Pictures in this listing show examples of the type of blemishes you can usually expect. 

We do not cherry pick. We simply take the next one out of the crate. Please do not purchase if you are not going to be OK with a blemished radio.

This radio was offered in the Scion tC but works in all the following vehicles, as long as you disconnect the external amplifier in premium sound system applications, if applicable. This is a GREAT way to upgrade your audio system to MP3 and SiriusXM satellite capability without dash or wiring kits. (SiriusXM kit not included.)
