Just to be clear:This item is the glass that you slide your fingers across, it is the touch sensitive glass also known as the digitizer. This is not the LCD and does not produce any picture. Most of the time if there's cracks then replacing the digitizer will fix the problem, however if there is extensive damage you may also need to purchase the LCD or frame sold seperately.

Also Please Note that this part DOES NOT include the Frame or the Home button, usually you can transfer these parts from your old ipod and just attach them to this digitizer.

iPod touch (2nd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.

The iPod touch (2nd generation) can be distinguished from previous iPod touch models by its contoured design and oval shaped antennae cover in the back upper left corner.

As these devices look quite similar, it is helpful particularly to know the model number in small type on the back of each device for identification purposes.

The original iPod touch is model number A1213 and the iPod touch 2nd Gen sold here is model number A1288.

Return/Exchange
