Hand-painted and carved gourd by artist Leonardo Castoni (or Gaitai, not sure) from Tarrali studios, Colombia - a unique piece of Latin American folk art.



Naturally egg shaped with a beautiful woman holding a baby. The painting technique uses a thin raised outline that makes the features really stand out, the details are lovely. Signed Tarrali Colombia on the back.
