Lovely mid century Scandinavian Stavangerflint plate from the plate series that tells the story of Stolt Margit.  This is Plate Number II and the legend goes that Margit lived at Hjuske, the proudest farm in Sauherad. She was on her way to church one day when the mountain king came out of the mountain (fram med bergevegg) and tempted her away into the mountain with a silver-gilded chair & red skirts.  Ceramic plate is 8", handpainted by Anne Loftus and in very good condition.  Back has holes for hanging.  Please see the pictures for all the details.

The items we sell come from a variety of sources including retail stores, thrift stores, garage sales and our own closets.  Because of this we may not be able to tell you everything about an item.  We do tell you all we know and are as thorough as possible.  Ask us questions, make us an offer!  We aim for happy, satisfied customers and will do our best to make it so.  We use shipping material that's recycled from local businesses, as well as from the USPS.

We also buy and understand what it's like to purchase a product without seeing it in person.  Please contact us if there are any problems.  We give refunds and want to have happy customers.
