With this slot your Nintendo 64 is now region free, you can play Japanese, U.S. or any other
country cartridge! Or, if you have a Japanese system, U.S. system or European system, you can now play U.S. games or any other games on it !
Installation:
**Requires a 4.5mm security/gamebit screwdriver, or a bit at home depot (~$3 ) and a regular phillips screwdriver.
- Remove the five screws on the bottom of the unit with your gamebit screwdriver, there are 3 on the back and 1 under each front foot.
- Open Remove the cover.
- Remove the screws holding the original tray with a phillips screwdriver.
- Install the new cartridge slot, by putting screws in place, tighten, but while tightening check that the doors open and close freely. If the doors seem stuck, back off one turn and check the doors move freely.
- Put unit back together.
